Caring for a Flu Patient at Home

The NCHD and the Bibb County Medical Society created a handout that includes suggestions for taking care of a flu patient at home. It also includes tips on avoiding the flu, such as covering your nose and mouth when coughing and sneezing, frequent hand washing, and limiting your exposure to other people if you become sick. The handout also explains ways that you and your family can prepare for a flu pandemic, which is a global outbreak of influenza. There are no copyright restrictions and we encourage you to distribute the brochure to your friends, family, and co-workers.
